Senior Care Assistant

Are you passionate about providing quality care from a distance? Do you thrive on using technology to make a difference in patients' lives? We're looking for a dedicated Telehealth Care Response Officer to join our team and support our patients in a compassionate, innovative, and proactive way.

Duties:

• Monitor and assess patient data from telehealth devices, responding promptly to alerts or inquiries.
• Respond to emergency calls, conduct a risk assessment and give emergency help, including responsive care, if required.
• Consult and liaise with appropriate staff regarding the care, support services and environmental concerns, ensuring accurate records of actions taken are maintained.
• To work flexibly on a rota system for Bank Holidays, evenings and weekends.
• Coordinate with healthcare providers and emergency responders as needed to arrange further in-person care.
• To visit clients in their homes to update and review their information and check the equipment installed.
• Ensure that you work in line with all the Council's policies and procedures and ensure that you are aware of your obligations under these.

Experience:

• Experience of working in a people centred environment.
• Experience of working alone or as part of a team.
• Experience of dealing with emergency situations.
• Experience of working with vulnerable people.
• Knowledge of community alarm and telehealthcare equipment including programming, installation and fault finding
