Casual Client Driver Attendant

Main Purpose of the Role

To provide safe and efficient transport services, ensuring the well-being of clients during transit.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport and escort clients door-to-door, ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Assist clients before, during, and after journeys, considering their physical and emotional needs.
• Act as a key point of contact between clients, social services, and medical professionals, reporting any concerns.
• Immediately report any non-contact with clients to management.
• Maintain and update passenger lists daily.
• Be trained in moving, handling, emergency response, disability awareness, and First Aid.
• Follow Health & Safety regulations, ensuring proper use of restraint systems and wheelchair security.
• Refrain from alcohol consumption and smoking while on duty.
• Inspect, clean, and maintain vehicles, completing daily log sheets.
• Maintain strict confidentiality at all times.
• Undertake additional duties as required, in line with the role.
