Meet the Team – Mike Worrall

Today, we speak to Michael, one of our Talent Partners…  

Tell us about your working background 

I have 10 years’ experience of working in Recruitment employed in both onsite roles and in Head Office. From Sept ’20 – March ’23 I was employed as a Covid-19 Field Study Worker where I would assemble swab & capillary blood test kits to give to participants as well as conducting a Covid-19 survey with them. 

What do you like about working in the recruitment industry? 

The diversity of engaging with candidates and employers and the rewards that brings, as well as the fast-paced, instant decisions that have to be made.    

What are you most looking forward to about your new role? 

Working in a new team and evolving into an experienced Talent Partner where my knowledge and skill set can be called upon to help and advise others in the team.   

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time? 

I am a keen golfer and have been a member of Lee Park Golf Club since June ’16 where I play off a single-figure handicap. Over the last 25 years, I have become an experienced skier of a high intermediate standard. For relaxation, I enjoy a game of chess and hot yoga.    

Any top tips for jobseekers?  

If you are invited to an interview, Prepare, Prepare & Prepare. That is, if you fail to prepare then prepare to fail.
