Today, we speak to Amy, one of our Talent Partners…  

Tell us about your working background 

I have experience in healthcare recruitment, having successfully placed a wide range of professionals across the sector. I have recruited for the following roles: support workers, care assistants, team leaders, registered nurses, occupational therapists, and registered managers. 

What do you like about working in the recruitment industry? 

I enjoy working in the fast-paced environment of healthcare recruitment and I am passionate about finding candidates their perfect role. There is nothing more rewarding to me than helping someone find a job that fits their skills and aspirations, knowing that I am making a positive impact on both their career and the quality of care provided in the healthcare sector. 

What are you most looking forward to about your new role? 

To be a positive impact for Halton Borough Council and to help with their recruitment process. I am looking forward to being able to support the local community and residents.  

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time? 

In my spare time, I enjoy travelling and going on long hikes. I also enjoy spending time with my friends, family, and two cats!  

Any top tips for jobseekers?  

My advice is to always keep your CV up-to-date and to don’t be afraid to ask for advice from recruiters. I would recommend attending job fairs and industry events as you may come across a brilliant job opportunity, and it is a great way to build connections.
