One such leader is Ellis Parsons, our Head of Marketing, who has made an incredible impact through her leadership, determination, and passion for marketing. We had the privilege of speaking with Ellis about her career journey, her inspirations, and her advice for future female leaders.

Q: What inspired you to pursue a leadership role in recruitment, and how do you empower other women to do the same?
A: I was inspired to lead in marketing recruitment by my passion for building high-performing teams that help businesses connect talented individuals with opportunities. I lead a dynamic marketing team, predominantly made up of talented women, driving brand growth through strategic, recruitment-led initiatives. Committed to empowering women, I prioritise mentorship, support continuous learning and development, and ensure my team celebrates their achievements.

Q: Who has been an inspirational figure in your career, and why?
A: My career has been shaped by many inspiring women, from one of my first managers who recognised my potential and passion for marketing, to my current Managing Director, Helen, who introduced me to the world of recruitment marketing, and all the incredible women in my team who motivate me to lead with purpose and passion.

Q: What advice would you give to future female leaders in the recruitment industry?
A: For future female leaders in marketing recruitment, my advice is to be confident, embrace leadership opportunities, and continuously develop your expertise. Build strong networks and champion other women. Success comes from resilience, authenticity, and a willingness to challenge the norm.
